How to survive in Aquarius era?
First of all, I have to admit that I'm not keen in astrology and not a big fan of it. However, since scientists failed to come with "the solitary theory of everything" - the only candidates so far are Astrology and Marxism - I borrowed a term from the former. I use it to describe changes in the modern world which trouble me and seem to be omnipresent enough, and also interrelated to each other, without any link to the actual constellations. I am also not sure about time boundaries. So it's more about perception than attempting to build a precise schema.
Blue light
Aquarius pours blue all over the inhabited world...
All modern lights have a spike in a blue part of the spectrum. Moreover, in the public spaces one cannot escape these lights. Even in daytime they are on in the public transportation, supermarkets etc. I shall not stop on the consequancies like eye strain, bleeding, detaching retina etc, cos who are interested in one another's pain, right? What is interested is the behavioral changes that can be observed, and here are two of them: first people under blue light become more irritated and nervous, acting less contiously and sharply, second partly as a counter-reaction to this their activity is paralized.To add, both these behavioral shifts are already common in overpopulated environment, where big animals normally have much less space than they have to have in wild nature to feed themselves, and so they are tended to be constantly awake over potential threats and be in a constant strain, but now, this effect has strenghtened because of omnipresent blue-spectrum light. As an example, in my former job, my Chinese colleagues (who affected more because in contrast of the 5/8 European wageslaves they are pretending to work 6/11 or something) only replied to me in the messenger to tell me that they are in the airport or on the plain, and so could not address my request. What they did when they are not at the airport or plane, is a big mystery.
Not sure if some data of spreading of blue light over time is available, from my personal evidence it was the more actively done in 2011 - 2021. One can easily notice it, for example, by comparing old and modernized wagons in Moscow metro. It was also obvious by comparing an old "Perekerstok" mall and one after reconstruction in North Butovo.
Not to say that no one before me had noticed this issue, but I could hardly find anything related to the topic. Though, for example, I get tons of spam about cancer (hope it's at least a real desease, not just fairy tail like Sars-cov-19). For computer/laptop screens, there are software products like redshift (or flux, for gays) that are intended to reduce blue, which are useless, cos even if all pixels on the screen have G=0 in their RGB code, backlight will still have spike in the blue - this is hardware problem and cannot be solved by software means; some OS support color profiles, which are a bit better, probably they can control backlight as well, but still far from being a full solution. Some guy suggests, with referral links, glasses which are blocking the part of the spectrum (unfortunately I've lost his post). It's true marvelous in the our prosperous world, to reduce the personal space to few millimeters between the eyes and the glasses. To add to this, devices for measuring a spectrum, which are though to be just a prism like one that Newton used and a bunch of light sensors, are surprisingly expensive.
Security above all
Security is now worshipped as the supreme divinity.

Justification of security practices exploit the fallacy of assuming security is free in terms of insecurity. I.e. the security threats induced by security itself are not counted. For example, the bank can block your account to secure it from the potential fraud, however it is not the bank's business what you will eat while you don't have an access to your money. The price of security is ignored, security is always implied to be secure, so security is priceless. It's more suitable to use word "hatari", which means both "security" and "insecurity".
I got tired while writing about blue light so won't write much here... Funny fact: in Russian suburban railways, it was voice message "According to conducting of terrorist attacks, be aware and bla-bla-bla..." (following by usual security bullshit) ("В связи с проведением террористических актов, будьте бдительны..."). This directly states, that terrorist attacks are made especially to enforce security measures. I wonder, if they don't suppose to hide this, or in their twisted language this phrase has the other meaning.
Information asymmetry and constantly diminishing quality of goods
Free market adepts argue, that competition in the market leads to the prevalence of the goods and services of higher quality. I.e. a vendor who produces the goods of higher quality, will sell more goods and so will get more of market, more profit etc.
However, increasing quality is not always the best way of making a competitive advantage. When the structure of market is complex, an end customer usually cannot assess the true quality of the good they are buying or the service they are subscribing. Businesses have more advantages over the market information cos they can hire a BI team, use distributed data analysis systems like ones from Amazon or Facebook, while an individual customer can only rely on their common sense, or at best do some research with help of Excel tables or similar primitive tools. That leads to the asymmetry of information and forms a market known as market of lemons, so the companies do not need to concentrate on goods or services of good quality, they better to gather information and they trick customers, optimizing customer behavior. With the raise of information asymmetry every market becomes a market of lemons. Companies are interested in the increasing of information flows about individuals toward the companies and decreasing of such flows from companies toward individuals (which is achieved by different SEO tactics), and since companies have more resources, the tilt is constantly increasing toward them.
Quality, however, remains out of scope, investments to quality become fruitless. As a result, quality inavitably drops.
Global climate change and destruction of the environment
The last, but not the least, the peoples' activity destroys their own inhabitable environment. I won't write the technical things here, there is a lot of information, but interestingly it happens at the time as social changes, which I wrote above, which are making the society more rigid and the humans less of control of their own fate. So when in 1970-s there were actual plans of reducing automobiles and telecommuting, after that they were buried despite of the technical abilities increased by several orders. Now the logic of the changes in the society is not anymore logic of people but a logic of corporations (machines?), it's hard to find people in charge and so destruction of peoples' environment seems to be logical.
Once maybe the creatures who's ancestors were people will live without personal space, without oxygen, with constant anxiety which will form something like processor's idle loop, only interrupted by the beams of blue light to the eyes (or sensors) which will intentivise them to act so and so; this can be seen ofcourse both as enslaving humans by machines or as a transhumanistic path toward digital immortality. Or maybe these plans will fail and startups making the surviving technologies in the broken world will go bankrupt, while only preppers will survive and move to the primitive farming.
This, however, the matter of the farthest future, so far we can live on the debris of civilization, exploiting the remains of the natural environment.
So far so good, this post was intended as a #0 of the posts related to Aquarius era and only describing the problems with little or no talk about solutions. In the next posts (if they manage to come) I'll talk of what I think of how to mitigate them.
